EGM MEETING

An EGM will be held on Thursday 24th January 2013 at 7.00pm

at West End Bowling Club, Stockton

AGENDA

1. 1.Presidents Opening Remarks.

1. 2.Outline the Objectives of the EGM – reason for EGM including background.

1. 3.To discuss the potential ofto increase the number of available players participating in the C & T Leagues

1. 4.Review the motions to include

4.1             Review of Constitution and Rules Second Issue Amendment L “

“Where a club have Teams playing in both Wednesday and Thursday Sections of the League, members of that club are not permitted to play Teams of the same Club in any one year, the only exception being Teams that are short of players are allowed to borrow up to a maximum of 3 players from the Wednesday Team to support their Thursday Team, and vice versa”

Discussion on the possible relaxation of the maximum of three players – to include the -

• The numbers of players allowed to play in both the Wednesday and Thursday Leagues
• Implications arising
• Implementation  - trial or permanent basis

4.2       Review of Constitution and rules Second Issue Rules 3.3 and 4.3 “The game will be limited to male bowlers only”

Discussion on the possible relaxation of the rule that the Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday leagues are limited to male players only

• Implications arising
• Number of non-male bowlers allowed to play in any one match or season
• Implementation - trial or permanent basis

4.3       To review any other proposal as received
